Bullying Prevention by Rachel’s Challenge

Replace bullying and violence with positive acts through programs based on the true story of Rachel Scott, the first person killed in Columbine school shootings.

Program Overview

Rachel’s Challenge is an integrated set of Kindergarten-through-Corporate programs uniquely positioned to inspire, equip and empower students at every level to make a difference in their community and world. Although each element of the program stands on its own, Rachel’s Challenge is not a one-time event. It is designed to be a continuous, ongoing set of interrelated processes, education and strategies that over time help to create a climate and culture less susceptible to destructive behavior. This is accomplished by focusing on:

  • Creating a safe learning environment by promoting a caring community that can then become a proactive antidote to violence, bullying and suicide.
  • Improving achievement by engaging the whole person; heart, head and hands; in the learning process.
  • Providing social/emotional education that is relevant to the target audience.
  • Training adults to inspire, equip and empower students of all ages to affect permanent positive change in themselves, their school or business, and their community by giving of themselves to others.
